General Disclaimer:
GroundScore and its partners will exercise their due diligence in identifying and locating all utilities. However, due to factors beyond our control, including lack of maps, inaccuracy of maps, lack of above-ground indications of utilities, the presence of unknown and non-electromagnetically conductive utilities, and existing soil conditions non-conducive to GPR scans, GroundScore and its partners cannot guarantee that all utilities will be found. Damages to utilities within 2' either side of our markings will be the responsibility of the excavator. All utility markings will be considered expired and void after 14 days.
Please observe a buffer zone equal to 2 feet on either side of our markings. Markings are only good for a period of 14 days. Please call us for remarking should your job extend beyond that time frame. Sketch, if provided, is a visual representation only, and should not be considered “to
scale” or representative of exact locations of utilities. In no event shall GroundScore and its partner Utility Services, be liable for any losses, claims, or other damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from use of this material.
Non-Metallic Water Line Disclaimer:
If non-metallic water lines or other utilities are evident on site, GroundScore and its partners will be diligent in attempting to identify the approximate location(s) utilizing nonstandard methods, including any or all of the following: Marking based on line of sight (E.g. between valves), map information, acoustic locating techniques, and ground penetrating radar (GPR). Any approximate locations determined will be marked with paint dots (not paint lines). GroundScore and its partners do not guarantee the accuracy of these markings in any way. GroundScore and its partners do offer vacuum excavation services to pothole and search for lines. These utilities must be potholed to confirm exact locations.
